....find something to do inside! One day we had been lamenting the fact that we couldn't do all the outside things we used to do in Long Beach. Katherine found some sidewalk chalk and asked if we could go outside and write on the sidewalk. Of course I reminded her that the layer of ice on the sidewalk would make it a bit difficult. So, after a second or two, Katherine saw an opportunity in our basement - cement floors! Perfect for chalk! The girls had a blast drawing away.
